The 2012 tide timetables are coming soon!  Keep an eye on the Tide Timetables page of the website as it will be updated later this month.

We have had a record number of visitors to the marina this year including several flotillas from various European countries.  Many came from the Netherlands and Belgium, for whom it was Destination: Woodbridge!  With so much to see and do in Woodbridge and the surrounding area it is no wonder we saw our visitors staying for longer periods of time and hope to welcome them back again next year.

Mark has had a busy year painting, varnishing, applying gel coat and installing bow thrusters and Steve has been non stop with electrical installations and repairs.  On the engineering side, Stuart and Henry have overhauled a number of engines and we are pleased to report that we have three new engine installations to be completed this winter in preparation for the new season.  I would like to thank the team for their continued support and hard work, without them it would not be possible.  Thanks, Richard.

Mike is in the process of dredging the South Arm as we speak and we hope to have this mammoth task completed by early March 2012.

You will be pleased to hear that Mike, Steve and Henry have all renewed their first aid training so any problems you know who to look out for!

We are pleased to announce that we have a new member of the team, Henry Kember joins us as an apprentice Engineer.  Currently studying Engineering at West Suffolk College, Henry is being trained in all aspects of engineering work including fabrication and welding and is a valued part of the team.

I am very pleased to announce that Steve Ward recently passed his National Marine Electronics Association exams and is now a qualified Marine Electronics Installer!  Whether you have a navigation system that needs looking at, instruments playing up or new radio equipment that needs installing – Steve is your man!

I can report an excellent first year from Propspeed UK, we have secured over 100 Approved Applicators across the UK and Ireland and in the coming months hope to see that number rise.  At the Tidemill we coated around 40 props/shafts this summer.  If you are interested in Propspeed, please do visit our website – www.propspeed.co.uk or speak to Richard, Mark or Caroline at the marina.

This year we had another busy summer with even higher visitor numbers than last year with many boats visiting us from Belgium, Holland and France.  We also received excellent feedback regarding the cleanliness of the marina and toilet block and were told that we are “the best marina on the East Coast” by several visitors!

We are now able to supply all of your Lewmar requirements such as winches, handles, hatches and blocks.  We hope to soon become and approved service centre.
